Debbie has played many roles in the community, supporting organizations that actually did things in the community rather than just talking about doing something. She has a passion for being part of something because it’ was the right thing to do. Just prior to and following retirement Debbie became heavily involved in the Orange County HomeGrown organization which supports self-sustaining, locally based economic and community development efforts. Debbie Turner was and continues to be a driving force within the Lost River Market & Deli. Without the persistence of Debbie’s “make it happen” attitude the Paoli community would not have the “jewel” it has in Lost River Market & Deli. To have the vision and determination to make this possible is a true testament to her character. She has led by example and has met every challenge with quiet determination. She has been a mentor and an inspiration to many in Paoli.
