Cooperatives: A Community & Economic Development Strategy

Monday, March 25, 2013
The Platform, 202 East Market Street, Indianapolis

Please join us on Monday, March 25 at The Platform, 202 East Market Street, Indianapolis, for a presentation by Ted Howard, Executive Director of the Democracy Collaborative and a key architect of Cleveland's Evergreen Cooperatives.

The Evergreen Cooperatives of Cleveland, Ohio, are pioneering models of job creation, wealth building, and sustainability.  Evergreen's employee owned, for-profit companies are based locally and hire locally.  They create meaningful green jobs and keep precious financial resources within Cleveland's Greater University Circle neighborhoods.  Worker-owners at Evergreen earn a living wage and build equity in the firms as owners of the business.

See attached flyer for more details.
