
The student-run branch of Corning Credit Union opened for its eighth year Sept. 29 at BOCES Bush campus. Its success serving students and staff will give birth to a second student-run branch this month at Elmira High School. About 20 credit unions run a total of about 50 student-run credit union branches in New York schools, said Ronald McLean, chief marketing officer for the New York Credit Union Association.
